Via phone:
1. make sure you use the same Google account on the watch and phone
2. Select drop-down button from "Install"
3. Select your watch
4. On your watch, tap and hold, scroll right and select "ADD WATCH FACE"
5. Select your new face
Via watch:
1. Open Google Play Store
2. Install and apply.
