In this game, the goal is to connect the adjacent letters to make words in the given time.
The race is between you and the clock to achieve as many words as possible while the time is ticking. As you keep making words, the points accumulate. Longer your words, bigger your score. Beware that time waits for no one.
Whenever you make a word in the grid, the letters make way for new letters and many special letters are spawned which help you score higher points.
There is also a special feature called ‘Freeze mode’ where you can use a special letter and the ticking time can be stopped for a few seconds which helps you reach higher scores. These will be activated on a few letters when they spawn and the time will stop ticking when you use the letter to make a word.
There are also other ways in ‘Word Connect’ to make a higher score, like the ‘Letter Bonus’ and ‘Word Bonus’ to double your points for the letter and words.
In ‘Word Connect’, when the player makes longer words (5 letters and above), the game unlocks a special mode called ‘Snail mode’ which slows the ticks. When in this mode, the time ticks every 2 seconds instead of 1 second. Basically, your mastery over vocabulary to make longer words helps you to bend time and gain more of it to top the leaderboard.
Apart from these, Word Connect provides players with swap, shuffle, delete and such essential boosters to enable the players to make bigger, longer words, remove unwanted letters from the grid and so on. One can even get some extra time too.
Word Connect has challenging achievements to unlock, each upon unlocking gives the ammo to get more power-ups and boosters which in turn help you take your score higher.
Higher scores will help you reach the top of the leaderboard, and the boosters will help you to stay at the top of the game and top of the leaderboard.
