An App to determine steel capacity for I, C, RHS and CHS profiles
An app to determine capacity of steel sections of various profiles such as I, C, RHS, and CHS subjected to forces. The forces such as shear, axial compression, and bending moment, are input, and then the selected steel profile is checked of its capacity. The capacities checked include shear, axial compression, and bending moment capacities.
The app enables engineers to determine, section properties, section classification, and member strengths on the spot as you have several built-in profiles and more importantly custom profiles for manual input, and enables engineers to make quick decisions whether the member size is ok or needs to be revised, especially if you’re in a project where design keeps on being revised to meet clients requirements or for other reasons such as site constraints, material availability, and etc.
