The so-called "Tower of Winter," finally fell thanks to the sacrifices of countless expedition members and the efforts of a nameless hero.
However, humanity did not face a bright future.
As winter's end approached, a vast number of the undead, drawn by the Tower of Winter and gathered in the northern wastelands, began to spread across the continent.
Before the cold even abated, the great migration of the undead forced the mortal races into an unprecedented struggle, leaving them without a moment to share in the joy of survival.
Each race, barely clinging to a chance of survival at the end of the long winter, must now prove their worth through a final, life-or-death struggle.
