What is NHK On Demand?
This video service offers more than 17,000 dramas, documentaries, historical education, and entertainment programs broadcast by NHK for a fee.
●You can watch latest programs and past masterpieces! We will show some of the best TV show content from NHK. (*Delivery period varies depending on the program.) In addition, we are constantly adding selected masterpiece dramas and documentaries from the NHK archives that have been broadcast and archived in the past.
●To use this application, you need to register as a free member on the website or purchase the programs you wish to watch. (You cannot purchase a program on this application.) If you register as a free member, you can watch free programs.
● Separately on the Web site, we offer "Single-Product" packages, in which programs are purchased individually, and "All-You-Can-Watch Packs," in which you can watch as many programs as you want during the distribution.

In response to requests, NHK On Demand is stepping up its efforts to dig up and distribute past programs. In the past, we have dug up and distributed a number of programs such as "Dokuganryu Masamune" and "Himawari".
