The Smart Fox:
- Once upon a time in a forest, there was a tiger who was king of the animals.
- One day, the tiger caught a fox. “Don’t you dare eat me,” said the fox. “God sent me here to reign over all. If you don’t believe me, we can walk through this forest and you will see. I will lead and you follow me. Then we will see who the animals are afraid of.”
- The tiger accepted and they walked together through the forest as the fox had suggested. All of the animals ran away when they saw them coming.
- The tiger didn’t understand that animals were frightened by him and not the fox, so he let the fox go.
